Pallet Gravity Flow Systems

Our Proprietary COSFlow System is a revolutionary pallet handling system that uses up to 50% less space, and increases safety and efficiency. Look at the space savings!

Save Space
 •  Just two aisles, one for feed and one for discharge, required to service several pallet positions.    •  Multiple aisles required to allow fork truck storage and retrieval.

First In - First Out
 •  First pallet introduced into a lane flows forward to be first removed.    •  Pallets can be forgotten off to the side.

Storage Buffer
 •  Keeps production moving regardless of lull periods at the feed end caused by late product arrival, shift changes, etc.    •  Delays during a surge of incoming & outgoing pallets.

Less Fork Trucks
 •  One fork truck services the feed end and one services discharge end.    •  Requires more fork trucks to run same number of pallet movements.

Increased Safety
 •  Each end of the system is serviced by a direct approach, eliminating dangerous turns and poor visibility.    •  Time and distance traveled is significantly higher due to maneuvering around corners and traversing long aisles.

Automatically Transports Pallets
 •  Pallets flow smoothly from the feed area to the discharge area of the system requiring no additional transportation.    •  Pallet need to be transported this distance by fork truck or a separate conveyor.

Design Features
The COSFlow concept is fully independent, as it requires no electricity or pneumatic power. Each lane is installed on a downward slope allowing the pallets to flow forward under the efficient power of gravity.
Pallet speed is controlled at a safe rate utilizing a self-contained centrifugal retarder device constructed of a robust, all steel gear set that is fully hardened, offering unsurpassed strength and durability.

The steel main shaft that supports the easily-replaceable pliable synthetic rubber tire is securely supported by an oil impregnated bronze bushing. The bushing and the reinforced engineered plastic housing help to maintain accurate gear engagement for the life of the retarder.

Powder coated, corrosion fighting heavy gauge steel ramp-style stops are a key component on the discharge end of the system. These stops are engineered to withstand virtually any product distribution environment and ensure a controlled, positive and safe stoppage of the pallet.
